Trying to not be self-conscious about posting anything other than cosplay/sewing has been one of the hardest parts of coming back to tumblr after years of it being the primary focus/center of my public social media pages.

Birthday crafts 💕
I went to a book nook making class recently, and of course I had to make mine loz themed 👀
I didn't get very far during the class itself because my Eldest Daughter Gene (tm) kicked in and I ended up helping other people at my table with theirs 😂 but the general idea is to make it a mix of the Temple of Time/Scared Grove! The very back is where the master sword/ToT is, and then I have this archway like 3/4 the way in that Im going to back with some blue cellophane to make it kind look like a window/portal through time. The back wall is also going to have a mini cathedral style window that Im going to color each if the long panels to match the goddesses.
And then everything in the front part is going to be really green/look like the ruins of the Temple with nature overtaking it and moss everywhere. The final "cover plate" for the nook has a brick pattern, so I can make that look like crumbling bricks and cover that in moss too!!
I havent had the time to sew in a few days, but still chugging along on the navy blue Hylian Tunic! I got the gold pieces sewn into the windows, and the sleeve band attached. The fabric I'm using really resisted being dyed, but I did manager to make it a little darker! To keep the inside looking nice I decided to line it with navy blue cotton.
Im still debating if I want to add the "chainmail" undershirt, but to test how it looks I used some of the left over gray fabric I used on the appliqué, and layered it with some silver netting like fabric so that it had a little more structure.
Made some cute little ornaments of the girls 🥹 really proud of how Echo's little gray sweater, and Olive's wreath turned out.
December has felt 6,000 years long and its only halfway through, but I baked some cookies for a friend's birthday recently! Really happy with these ones, they're Reeses peanut butter with some pretzels on top and matcha chocolate chip flavored.
