Otter quilt progress! My phone is refusing to photograph all these blues accurately, and it’s a little wonky because I’ll be cutting some rectangles in half, but it’s making progress!

Our princess and the pauper costumes finished and together! <3
Im so happy with our dresses. They were such a large project to take on but absolutely worth it in the end, and we had such a fun day getting to wear them out and about!
Finally this was the hairstyle I ended up doing for the day and what I bought while we were at renfaire!
so you may recall i landed a job as a freelance maker for the phantom of the opera! 🎭
here’s one of the costume sets i have to make for the upcoming USA tour - fans of the show will know this from hannibal 🐘
i calculated the number of gems i have to sew on and it’s 650! good thing i only have seven pieces left 🫡 i feel like i have become one with my thimble already
I thought I'd be able to quilt this myself on a regular sewing machine (because I have always done so before) in like a week... But having thoracic outlet syndrome and cubital tunnel means I can only quilt around like one or maybe two dinosaurs at a time/a day. I think this should've been the first time I paid someone with a quilting machine to quilt a work. Oh well, I've already started now. But this birthday present is going to be like a month late. 😔
Positive Note: look how cute it turned out!! 😍

i found these pieces i prepared a few months ago and i think i might finish this puppy now... i'm thinking about making the ears in a darker shade or just brown though but we'll see
Got the top of the bat quilt done! Now to measure and figure out how much backing fabric I will need. Plus if I have enough batting to make frankenbatting for it or need to buy more.
'kay, now that I am officially done with Fucked Up Ships Week, time to sew some little nug feet with toesies.
