Enjoy the flavors of a classic diner-style burger in the comfort of your own home. By following this recipe, you can make the best burger everjuicy, cheesy, and sooo tasty!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices American cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp ketchup. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 tomato, sliced. 1/2 onion, thinly sliced. 4 pickle slices.
Instructions: Preheat grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare to medium burgers. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and ketchup to create the burger sauce. To assemble the burgers, spread the sauce on the bottom bun, place a patty with melted cheese on top, add lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, and a pickle slice. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
