Dingy Skipper (Erynnis tages). by Bob Eade This is the other Dingy Skipper I found roosting in the rain a couple of weeks ago. One droplet over the eye makes me feel it is doing an impression of Marty Feldman!! The butterfly obviously wasn't expecting the weather to get as bad as it did, and neither did I as I was also absolutely soaked, even more so through laying on the ground to photograph this guy. The roost it chose was on the edge of a path with a valley behind it, hence the clear background. https://flic.kr/p/2j3bban
