Panel 1: How does smoke work again...?
Panel 2: Ah, the age-old "you're on something" accusation. I watch a lot of GTA roleplay recordings, and the amount of times where police officers will brush off a citizen's unusual story by assuming they're on drugs is too hilariously numerous to count.
Panel 3: Sure, Lupe heard all the strange noises and saw a picture. Doesn't make her a believer. You know the type. Although I'm pretty sure her resistance has less to do with being skeptical and more to do with the fact that she needs to insult this stupid annoying jock.
Utilize every sense you can when you tell stories. Comics are not as limited of a medium as they seem. Have characters illustrate what they feel, what they taste, what they hear, what they smell, wherever you can get away with it.
Because Noah's 'scent' likely isn't going to be addressed anywhere in IB, I'll lightly explain: Noah underwent something in his past - a violent memory - that has a knack of 'hanging in the air', as memories so often do when you're dealing with the supernatural things that he does. Hygiene is usually the last thing on his mind, granted, but at least the b.o. isn't his fault this time.
Panel 4: I gotta stop pointing the camera down. I hate forgetting about all the clutter on the floor and scribbling stuff in at the last second. Grrrr.
