ok but is anyone else super weirded out by all these pics and videos of players just… eating dinner?? like, when did it become normal for a restaurant to post “here’s what they ordered :)” as if that isn’t just their private night out?? it feels way too intrusive, like we’re supposed to consume their downtime the same way we consume match highlights.
i love seeing them on court, i love the interviews, i’ll happily scroll through practice clips — but their dinner plate? their glass of wine? absolutely not my business.
they’re not exhibits, they’re people. and honestly, imagine someone filming your fries and splashing it all over instagram just because you happen to be good at your job. it’s not connection, it’s voyeurism.
