I'm taking a break at the moment...

Because tomorrow is our first bbq. Not a big deal to most I'm sure, but to me it's one of those pivotal grown up moments. I've always imagined myself having "luncheons" and fancy dinners with extravagant centerpieces. It's not so much the setting itself, although I do admit my heart flutters at the sight of antique china and my bbq has been dubbed the most elegant bbq banquet ever, it's the thought that someone took so much effort to transport you to another time and place, and placed love and energy into a delicious meal. So as I sit here at 330 am when most people are sleeping off their friday drunken haze, I'm wondering how long it will take me to fold all the laundry,if another energy shot will give me a heartattackn and if anyone will appreciate the grilled feta, watermelon, and basil appetizers. Silly I know, but to me it's the little things that come with big effort and no reward except a happy memory. Lots of pictures to come.
