spending my new years eve drinking alone and watching documentaries about coelacanths.
Coelacanth!
New Deadmau5 material!
The track is called 'fck a coelacanth' and is an absolute banger. Just shows that Joel Zimmerman really is the master of production
The track is a remix of ‘Coelacanth’, which he categorizes as ‘NearlyExtinctStep’
Dino Fish in Disney Atlantis
So I was watching the documentary Dino Fish on NatGeo Wild and it was about this fish.
This is a Coelacanth and was thought to be long dead along with the dinosaurs. Apparently they survived though and still live in the ocean, somewhere around the coast of Southern Africa if I remember correctly. (If not feel free to correct me). Now this fish looks extremely familiar to me and I realized why.
Mr. Whitmore from Atlantis: The Lost Empire had them in his fish tank!
This man had fish that were supposed to be long dead in his home fish tank. Disney I give you mad props for putting them in there. The movie is set in 1914, and these guys weren't discovered by scientists until 1938 (according to the NatGeo website). So Mr. Whitmore had to have some mad skills to get these guys without any scientists finding out about it.
