140207- BLUE NIGHT WITH JONGHYUN

DAY 4

HERE SOME TRANSLATION FOR TODAY PROGRAM

Jonghyun started with the topic of the sounds of heartbeats and rhythm today and says there is a instrument that sounds similar to a heart beat; cello, which gives people a comfortable and dependable feeling.

For today's part 2, Jonghyun will be playing songs suitable for those that can't fall asleep easily at this time and also, today's guest is a female, Blue Night's first female guest

Muse's Starlight was just played and Jonghyun says that the song is a song from their live album and says that live music is always different from recorded music. He says he loves the part where the band plays and the fans scream the most, and the singer says "THANK YOU!" handsomely and move on to the next song.

Jonghyun says he wanted to talk about England food, and says the best food in england is Fish & Chips. He says when he went to england, he wasn't feeling well and had indigestion so when he ate fried food (fish &chips), his stomach didn't feel well so it was a pity.

Jonghyun then said when he goes england, he goes to perform and returns, he goes china, performs and comes back, and same goes for japan so he can't really enjoy a holiday but still, he believes that it is good to be able to go around and meet people so he tries to travel in a happy and light mood.

A listener said she went to a ski resort for a holiday and is listening to Blue night while skiing and jonghyun says "It is dangerous to listen to radio while you're skiing, please turn down the volume so as to hear when someone calls you from behind and be careful!"

Jonghyun then said he finally went to ski recently during a holiday and he snowboarded and can't count how many times he fell over LOL

Listeners sent in messages about their graduation and Jonghyun says he remember that he was really happy when he graduated because he thought he became a real adult but that wasn't the case (and he laughed)

Today's guest is Nine from the band 'Dear Cloud' and she says she normally can't sleep at this time and jonghyun says he is like that too and he normally sleeps after 5m. Nine: "this time right now is only the start", Jonghyun: "This time is the time our bodies start to get more active"

Jonghyun asks what is the difference in him doing the dj since Nine has been a guest for a corner for almost 2 years. Nine says when jungyeop (previous Blue Night DJ) did the radio, the studio is very dimly lighting but after Jonghyun came the studio turned really bright. Jonghyun says he is very nervous and want to see the script properly so he turned on all the lights"

Nine says since Jonghyun has very fair hair, he looks like an angel. Jonghyun laughs and says she doesn't have to package her words so nicely and says Nine has a really nice voice that is very comfortable to listen to at this time.

Jonghyun asked a few questions to Nine since it is their first meeting, like how did her band 'Dear Cloud' name come about and why is her name 'Nine' and asked for her real name. Jonghyun says her real name is really pretty and said Nine sounds really korean too. and then Nine said "Jjong-D is not bad too!"

A listener said "Jjong-D's voice tone sounds different when there is a male guest and when there is a female guest". Jonghyun said "Right now the writer nuna is telling me that my voice tone is too high, i think i'm too nervous and excited!"

Nine recommended the song "Royals" by Lorde to be played and said she is only 16 years old. Jonghyun: "16 years old??!!?!? Waaaa" Nine: "It was only her first album but she stayed #1 on the billboard for 9 weeks" Jonghyun: "waaa 9 weeks? NINE (in english)! nine weeks! that's amazing"

 Jonghyun said he is having a culture shock now because the previous song sounded so much like it was sung by a foreigner since it was sung in english but it was sung by a Korean. He says he will go home and listen to it a few more times.

Nine "I'm not the type of person that listens alot to idol songs but when i went somewhere and heard Everybody, i stopped in my tracks and went to ask "What is this??", Everybody's electric sound is really good." Jonghyun; "Ah thank you so much for the praises"

Jonghyun said this is the first time a SHINee song is played on Blue night and asked Nine to speak on SHINee's music style. Nine: "can i speak honestly? When i heard replay, i thought that shinee is very different from other idols but afterwards i didn't really know about shinee songs until i heard everybody. I really like your performance too. In the choreography, you fall while standing right? Isn't it painful? Seems really painful since you're falling to the ground from a standing position." Jonghyun: "Because i'm too into the music, i can't feel anything, music has a way to make you fall deeply into it."

Nine says she likes House music and asks Jonghyun why is house music called house music, and Jonghyun says "Because you listen to it inside (at home)?" Nine: "Yes, it is similar to that, house music is music that is played in the house, music that is played at a house party."

Jonghyun said time passed so fast while talking to Nine and he wants to listen to her voice more. Nine: "there is still next week so don't worry!" Jonghyun then said the past 1.5 hours really flew pass so quickly and he really enjoyed speaking with Nine. / Nine has made her leave for tonight.

DAY 3

HERE SOME TRANSLATION FOR TODAY PROGRAM

 Jonghyun started with the topic of movies and confessions today.

Jonghyun said he was so hungry before broadcast so he ate alot before coming into the studio because he was worried his stomach's growling sounds will get recorded on radio.

Jonghyun read a few messages and one of them asked if he has gotten used (to radio DJ-ing) since it is his third day working. 

Jonghyun says: "Yes, i'm getting used to it but i'm still nervous and excited. Because i'm the type of person that believes that everyday is better than the previous day, like today is better than yesterday and tomorrow is better than today, i believe that i'm getting better day by day, am i better?? I was worried that i'm not doing well, i woke up in the morning, ah, no i woke up in the afternoon, since i slept late, and listened to my broadcast and realised I was alot less nervous yesterday as compared to the first day. I think it's because there was a guest, because Lee-Jihyung was there with me and received my words well so it was better. Since there is also a guest today, i'll believe in him and hope that i can do a better job."

Jonghyun: "There is one less female guest today....ah wait, PD-nim just told me she will be coming. Actually I don't really care if the guest is a female or male, as most of them are older than me, i would be glad to be able to speak to them and learn/hear more from them."

After playing a song from The Beatles, Jonghyun said that in 2011, SHINee went to England and got to go to the Abbey Road Studios where The Beatles stood, but since he was sick, he wasn't able to join them and he says he was really disappointed and wishes to go back soon and perform on stage.

Jonghyun says let's laugh together when we are happy and cry together when we are sad and since he's here, he tells everyone to send over their problems and thoughts so he can share both happiness and sadness with them.

 Jonghyun said Joonil's voice is nice again and says his voice is like a massage (very comfortable to listen to)

 Jonghyun: "How do guys know when their girlfriend have changed their hearts and stopped liking them?" Joonil: "Isn't it mostly when the girl stops contacting the guy and the guy can feel that the girl have changed?"

 Jonghyun: "What is the emoticon (text messages) that portrays love in the best way?" Joonil: "It is the typical heart emoticons, and since we use kakao alot, something like a puppy emoticon or something like that?"

Jonghyun: "For me personally, I don't prefer using my handphone in front of my girlfriend when we meet, because we don't even have enough time to look into each other's eyes and spend time together, so time is too precious for me to use my handphone"

Joonil: "Jonghyun-DJ prepared so well, waaa, like what i said, i hope you can do (this radio) for 17 years!" Jonghyun: "Yes, i'll count 17 years starting from today!"

A listener shared her story about her boyfriend being very attentive when he first dated her but started to change recently, her boyfriend used to say "you're so pretty even without make up" and now he goes "shouldn't you put some make up? Where are your eyebrows?", and how he used to reply her text really fast before but nowadays he replies the next morning saying "Oh, sorry my phone didn't have battery, it wasn't anything important right?", and other actions. She asks if he has had a change of heart. 

Jonghyun and Joonil are talking about the change of heart in relationships now. Jonghyun says he doesn't think that the guy has changed his heart because him saying such comments shows that he still cares and shows concern for the girl.

Jonghyun says "Blue Night, I'm Jonghyun" has gone up in the search charts to 7th place and says "Thanks to Joonil, we have gone up to 7th place!" Joonil: (jokingly) "yeah, you guys are up because of me hahaha"

The previous song is 그대는 아는지 by Park-Se-Byul and Jonghyun says her voice is really nice and says he is glad that he knew another good voice through this radio.

A listener shared her story about her guy friend texting her alot suddenly and asking her out for movies, meals and drinking sessions so after a while, the girl thought "Ah, so he likes me".

But after a while, the guy told the girl "Hey, i have 2 friends that are really not bad and are for asking for blind dates, and from what i see, they're just your style! You should go!" and confused the girl.

The girl went for the blind date hoping that the 2 guys weren't as good as he said but the 2 guys were perfect in every way, so the guy said "See! I told you they were fine guys! You should treat me to a meal if you end well with him!" and then the guy said again "Ah....but if you end up with that guy, who will keep me company? i'll be so lonely, no one to have meals and drink well." 

The girl felt confused because the guy was giving mixed signals, and asks Jonghyun what the guy really thinks.

Joonil and Jonghyun are reading out comments from other listeners of how the guy really feels. Jonghyun says he personally thinks that the guy likes the girls and wants to confess so he is purposely doing this so that the girl can show her feelings first.

A listener says Joonil and Jonghyun matches as well as how meat matches with wraps (korean way of eating bbq meat), and Jonghyun says "Waa...this description matches so well with this time, I got to go and eat pork-knuckle meat later!!"

A listener said she is going to graduate from high school tomorrow and says she is excited and nervous about what she will do from now, Jonghyun says "When i graduated, I thought i could do anything too, since i turned 20, i felt like i could do anything that i wanted. I had alot of thoughts like "Ah, i should do this!" but i didn't get to do it because of the lack of time i had so it was a pity, i hope you guys can accomplish what you always wanted to do."
