Ways to connect with your kintype!

Velociraptor edition <3

- Screech. ScreeEEeeech. I find some bird calls also help, such as a few raven sounds. My specific breed of velociraptor is very vocal so little chirps and croaks will help

- watch documentaries!! Watch movies!! Jurassic Park isn't all that accurate but it's not a scientific movie, it's entertainment. Beggars can't be choosers

- if you're like me and you are in no way a large lizard and are instead more birdlike. Look into feather patterns and such! I'm very attached to the way people draw velociraptors to look like bearded vultures, but my particular pattern is more zebra-like.

- on that note look into the meanings and functions behind markings! My markings help me to blend in, but they also help me to look larger and more imposing, help me to look faster when I run to confuse predators, and help during mating dances to be super sexy to lady dinosaurs.

- I get kinda bitey, maybe invest in things to chew on. It's also very fun to scratch an itch with your teeth. Nibble nibble. Feels very animal

- I already tend to walk around on my toes with dinosaur arms because autism. But doing it consciously also feels velociraotor

- if you can, get some fake feathers and a raptor mask and some paint and just. Start going ham

- nest up. Get your snacks and your electronics and everything else you might need and make yourself a big cozy nest and just hunker on down

- if you know the habitat you may have lived in, decorate and put on sounds according to that! I lived in more of a wooded jungle area for example, I have lots of foresty stuff and fake plants all over my room
