Today was pretty fun and nice. The weather is perfect so Kat, Dad and I went to Applebee's for lunch and sat out on their patio on the river. We saw some little eel-looking fish and some other fish that kept jumping out the the water. Last time we ate there we saw dolphins.
When we got back Kat and I walked to this cute little new age story across the road from us. She was looking for a worry stone (also called a thumb) stone but they didn't exactly have what she wanted. She signed up for their news letter and the woman said they bought the place next door and were opening a meditation room, which could be nice. I could have used that this past semester.
After that we ran to The Dinosaur Store (it's pretty much what it sounds like) to see if they had worry stones, since they sell all kinds of rocks and ores. They didn't, but it's a cool place to look around. After we went to the little comic shop near us, Super Villain Comics. It's been a little while since we went in there and their entire back wall is all old, classic comics now. They had some pretty sweet stuff. I'm going back tomorrow after I get paid and picking a few things up.
And on our way home we ran through McDonald's drive-thru and I got a large sweet tea and she got a vanilla cone. It's still pretty early but we're probably just going to be lazy around the house now.
