Part four in the series “Dinosaurs don’t do that” Until now I haven’t gotten into the inspiration behind this series. It always felt like one of those “had to be there” kind of stories but I get a lot of questions so here we are! When I was in college I worked as a bartender at a rock and roll dive bar on the beach with some of the best people I’ve ever known. On slow days we would play a game called... you guessed it... Dinosaurs don’t do that. We would each randomly submit drawings of dinosaurs in human situations. Most of which were hilarious and ridiculous. I wish I had kept them all. I still look on those days so fondly and wanted my first series to be something personal and fun so this was an obvious choice for me. When one of the primary contributors to the game decided to marry the most amazing woman in the world, it was clear what my next painting would be. This is the only one in the series that will not be for sale when the series is complete.
