Loving Harder
March 29,2020
Welp, here goes another heart-wrecking experience. Yesterday, March 28, bored in quarantine, I decided to read updates from a Korean manhwa called Do It One More Time, which I have been following for God knows how long, maybe too long lol
Anyways, apparently the English translations have yet only been until chapter 64/65, and, I remember years ago reading a site with all the spoilers, as this manhwa has already been completed. Therefore I decided to check it out once again, getting the site where to read the raws, and read everything above the English chapters available, that is, until the last chapter 100.
I would say that this time I’m impressed at how patient I was, despite not understanding a damn thing, I couldn’t care less, I just be spoiled, even if I have to interpret only the illustrations.
Reaching the climax of the whole drama, chapter 97-99, there goes my heart being wrecked. I was on Ariana Grande marathon reading the series to its end. As I read the most touching chapters, 97-99, I listened to Love Me Harder, which, as you may now observe, inspired the title of my post. The reason I chose that song is that those chapters were hard core love-making scenes between the destined couple.
Let me make a point. Whenever I read something and I listen to a specific song as I do, I swear, it gets engraved to my memory and whenever I listen to the song I’d remember all the scenes that happened. I finished the last chapter listening to Thank you, Next, the same song I listened to as I finished another heart-wrecking manhwa back on 2018, entitled Live or Not, because it really sets the mood of a happy ending, no matter how complicated the events leading to such were.
Today, first thing in the morning, I opened my iPad Pro and read chapters 98-100 once again, because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I once again listened to Love Me Harder, and this time it really hit harder. Glob, what the fvck?
I once again came upon realizations exactly the same as Live Or Not.
Questions: Why the fvck did those people besides the main couple end up with each other, if the “return to the past” didn’t even really happen, and in the present they were living their hell? I mean, maybe those people DID want to change their past, and so they did as they pleased and wished for the change, therefore affecting the present time, meanwhile our main couple wished to stay together, that’s why they woke up from the dream of “returning to the past.”
Anyways, my thoughts are now out. Maybe I’ll have my peace now.
