“Dior from the tulle up” project
I finally got situated where I could start my dream project from way back when I was in design school. I have always wanted to do a classic Dior style goddess dress from the bottom up, all by hand, all couture techniques. Much easier to do 1/3 size! I finally chose a doll to work with, my Iplehouse SID old style body girl, and got going. The under dress is done. Posting progress on my blog, but here is one photo.
This whole set (dress, opera coat, and clutch purse) will be available for sale once I have completed it. I am making it to fit the old and new SID girls, with bust pads for anything smaller than the old Glamour Bust size.
