my theory is that vanilla ice used to be a stripper and not only was that his stripper name and dio wasn't bothered to ask for his real name, but the outfit he wears was the same one he'd wear in the club, and dio took inspiration from it cause he admires him so much and that's why they're both matching

- absolute asshats to almost everyone aside eachother (exceptions: giorno, trish, pucci)

- theres a statue of dio in the mansion somewhere, vanilla's idea

- vanice is practically glued to dio, he absolutely adores him and only leaves him alone when told to

- dio kisses vanice often and whenever he does he almost always leaves his heart-headband on, so overtime theres a small indent in vanilla's forehead for the heart to go (based off that one twt post about som1 saying he's only fucked women or smt)

- dio gets sick often, jonathans immune system does him dirty, vanilla is always extremely worried as if a mild cold is going to kill him

- had many noise complaints from the other agents, (they only outwardly complain to ice) mariah complains that vanice gets dicked down way more than she does

- dio definitely reads his favourite books out to vanilla when he's not busy ordering him around or absolutely destroying him

- vanilla literally only learned english fluently for dio. (he could speak it half decently before he met him, but now speaks it fluently)

- vanilla knows that dio is trans, namely agender as they believe; "i am too above the human nature of gender" (i hc dio also took over jonathans body as it would silence the dysphoria demons, agender dio real) he's the only one who knows this about them

- they met at a strip club (totally not referencing that absolutely gorgeously written fic.... its called domination by transboydio on ao3 its very good)

- when dio woke up, after he met enya and her son, vanilla was the first proper agent they summoned to do their bidding, he simply fell in a sort of love with him almost

- vanilla rarely gets sick, especially since he got turned to a vampire, but whenever he does, dio is doting on him and giving him soup his mother would make him (dio remembers the recipe as a way to sort of keep a part of her with him)

- dio has nothing left of his mother aside from her recipes, which as time passes the ingredients for such become more expensive. they hate this, as they are extremely attached to their mother still, he misses her a lot and vanilla catches him getting upset over it on times

- when dio gets upset it presents as anger, he's forced himself to believe crying is a useless, weak, human emotion not to be engaged with, so vanilla and the other agents always get the brunt of it all

- vanilla does everything he can to make dio feel better, he even feeds their ego and 9 times out of 10 its him just doting on him constantly and telling him how strong/resilient and all-powerful he is, but the one time it isnt that, its usually in the form of gifts

- if vanilla's loyalty to dio is challenged he will usually find a way to get dio's full attention on him, and he, more often than not, sacrifices puppies/kittens or babies for dio, to which, dio obviously adores and absolutely soaks up lol

Tablets: 40 mg, 80 mg, 160 mg, 320 mg

FDA Indications/Dosages:

For the treatment of hypertension when used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents: The recommended starting dose is 80 mg once daily in patients who are not volume depleted. The maintenance dosage range is 80-320 mg given once daily. The antihypertensive effect is substantially present within 2 weeks and maximal reduction is generally attained after 4 weeks. The addition of a diuretic has a greater effect than dose increases beyond 80 mg.

For the treatment of heart failure (NYHA Class II-IV) in patients who are intolerant of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors: The recommended starting dose is 50 mg twice daily. Titration to 80-160 mg twice daily should be done to the highest dose, as tolerated by the patient.

To reduce cardiovascular mortality following myocardial infarction in patient with left ventricular failure or dysfunction: Start with 20 mg given twice daily. Titrate to 160 mg twice daily as tolerated by the patient.

Monitor: CrCl, BP, K

Pharmacology/Pharmacokinetics: Angiotensin II is a potent vasoconstrictor, the primary vasoactive hormone of the renin-angiotensin system and an important component in the pathophysiology of hypertension. It also stimulates aldosterone secretion by the adrenal cortex. Valsartan blocks the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor found in many tissues. Valsartan peak plasma concentration is reached in 2-4 hours after an oral dose. Elimination half-life is about 6 hours. Food decreases absorption and peak plasma concentration by about 50%. Elimination occurs primarily as unchanged drug in the feces (83%) and urine (13%).

Drug Interactions: NSAIDs, including COX-2 inhibitors, may decrease effects and increase risk of renal function deterioration. Increased adverse effects may occur when used with other renin-angiotensin system blockers or aliskiren.

Contraindications/Precautions: Contraindicated with aliskiren. DO NOT USE DURING PREGNANCY. Use with caution in nursing mothers. Valsartan has been shown to be excreted in the milk of lactating rats. Use with caution in volume-depleted patients due to excessive hypotension. Use with caution in patients with impaired hepatic or renal function. Pregnancy Category D.

Adverse Effects: Generally well-tolerated with the most common adverse effects of headache and dizziness occurring at the same rate in patients receiving placebo.

Patient Consultation:

May be taken with or without food, although it may be best to administer without food for consistent plasma levels.

When pregnancy is detected, discontinue use as soon as possible.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and children.

Dizziness may occur during the first few days of treatment, report to a physician if this adverse effect persists.

Contact a physician if the above side effects are severe or persistent.
