Kaspersky Lab, founded in 1997 by Natalya Kaspersky and Eugene Kaspersky with headquarters in Moscow, Russia. Natalya graduated with a degree in applied mathematics from Moscow Institute of Electronic Machinestry. She was the CEO of Kaspersky Lab until 2007. She took over the CEO position of InfoWatch and is the co-founder and director of Nanosemantics and Kribrum. She and ex-husband Eugene owns 80% of Kaspersky Lab. Eugene Kaspersky is a cryptologist, graduating from the Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications and Computer Science in 1987. Kaspersky Lab was one of the leading investigators of Stuxnet.

Kaspersky took the prize for best repair of existing malware infestation. Researchers check that the product successfully removes active malware and restores unwanted system changes. They also check that the product can detect and remove threats hidden using rootkit technology. Kaspersky was also named 2011's product of the year by AV-Comparatives.org, another major antivirus testing lab.
