He doesn’t really know who this guy is, other than an opportunity. A detective leaving the industry had a lot of secrets, and there’s a lot of things that Droog would like to know. So he drives up to the coordinates on his motorcycle, feeling wary, but confident. Whoever this guy was, he was emotionally compromised. As long as he stayed cool he had the advantage, and control.

And as with everything, it’s all about control.

He revvs the engine once or twice to let Sleuth know he’s here. He already has the night planned out. Drink a little, maybe get a bit touchy, take advantage of him sexually while he’s emotonally compromised and desperate, and then have a bath with him to get him clean. Probably a bit more drinking after that. Who knows.
