So there's a new line of DCEU rumours. One of them being JJ Abrams being looked at to direct the Man Of Steel sequel. I'm hoping that like most DCEU rumours, it's incredibly false.

I agree with you about R1's female lead. I hate how disney/lucasfilm thinks that having a strong female lead means having her being condescending and talking down to others. They should look at Furiosa from Fury Road on how it should be done.
Yep. I have a lot of problems with how she’s written. I even had problems with Rey, but even she was done wayyy better than Jyn based on what we’ve seen so far.
I had to wait till I got out of work to watch all the DC trailers and read all news, so I got everything all at once. I'm in tears. It's all so beautiful. Every frame of all the trailers has got me so hype!

Can you believe there's already articles out there right now, that talk about whether or not we should be worried about justice league? It's crazy!
...for real? I actually haven’t seen that, but I guess it shouldn’t surprise me. God, that movie is a year and a half away. It’s honestly not even on my mind (I’m more focused on Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman since they’re closer). The fact that people are already writing articles about how they’re worried about it is ridiculous.
I take rumours with a grain of salt, but I would be upset if James Wan leaves Aquaman. I know it likely won't happen but it would be a big blow. Also who do you feel should direct the Flash movie? Brad Bird or Gareth Edwards are my dream choices.

It's nice to see a blog that actually "gets" BvS. Do you think maybe people weren't ready for a superhero film that makes you think, doesn't hold your hand, has layers, and isn't full of jokes? Yea it's flawed but what movie isn't?
I dislike phrasing it in that way, because everyone has the right to not like this movie, but I do think the fact that this movie was so different from any other superhero movie we’ve had is what led to the negative reception. It was a different take on Batman, and just the way the story was told was something new. This movie was always going to be polarizing, but I think it got the job done in terms of setting up the DC universe.
I’m not willing to say that people who didn’t like the movie had no reason not to like it, but I do think this movie was so different that some people had a hard time getting it.
