*Jameson stands in the back corner of his office, gun in hand. He's trembling, though he'd never admit it. Screams, gunfire and the sickening splat of bodies torn apart leak through the small crack beneath the door, which Jameson has blocked as best he could with his desk. Jameson winces at a sickening crunch.*
*A figure passes by the door, casting a shadow through the frosted window. Jameson freezes, hands shaking. The figure pauses, then moves along. Jameson breathes a sigh of relief.*
*But the peace is short-lived as the door crashes open, wood and glass splinters flying throughout the room. Jameson screams as a jagged piece of glass pierces straight into his right eye. The metal desk flies across the room and smashes into the wall.*
*Jameson can barely make out the dark figure slowly approaching him, his right eye completely blinded and blood obscuring his left. He aims his gun and fires wildly, and he can swear he hits it each time. But the monster continues to approach, seemingly unperturbed by the bullets.*
*The creature grabs Jameson by the throat, lifting him into the air and slamming him against the wall. Jameson gasps as he feels himself hit the solid surface, the back of his head and ribs cracking loudly. He feels the warm trickle of blood beginning to creep down his scalp, and breathing becomes more painful than anything he's ever felt.*
*Jameson can feel cold breath on his face, the stench of blood and death invading his senses. He gags, struggling to stay conscious.*
*He vaguely registers his assailant raising it's hand before an intense pain tears into his chest- literally. He looks down and sees a massive, clawed hand embedded in his chest. It squeezes, and Jameson can definitely feel his lungs rupture. With a sickening squirt, the creature rips out his fucking heart.*
*Jameson looks up, blinking the blood out of his eye just enough to see a horrible red face, needle-like yellow teeth grinning madly as his heart is tossed into its mouth.*
*And then it all goes silent and dark, as Jameson falls into the dreaded eternal sleep of death.*
