Jensen was so excited with the podcast he was kind of bummed when it was over lol "oh wait, i was ready to talk about the kind of lens i was using" also he watched the ep a day earlier on his phone to talk about it in which i found it cute cause yeah he directed it so he probably remembers, right. "my pitch is to rent a small movie theater, bring some familiar faces to watch the later seasons" to top it all off he said he never asked to direct any ep but the crew trusted him enough for him to do it, and we end up having jackles directing many episodes later on 💗

“He's[Jared] always got jokes. He's always got little gags. If he's on set and it's anybody on the crew or an actor's birthday, it's a total setup. Jared will be, come on over here, I need to talk to you about something, I need to talk about something urgent. And then everyone's like, Oh my gosh. And then they get over there and then he throws a cake in front of their face and then sings.

Jensen did a directing [gig] last year and he did it with Jensen … he shoved the cake in Jensen's face. It was hysterical, but it was all a big surprise. And that's just what he brings to the table.
