Ooh how do you think Kuda and Scarlet would interact if they met? (Either pre or post Omadd's machine, or post redemption, whichever you think is monst interesting!)
After giving this some thought, I've decided to answer this in three parts: A) Pre Omadd's Machine, B) Post Ommad's Machine. and C) AU timeline
A) Pre Omadd's Machine Ceara was idealistic, focused, eager to learn and expand her knowledge. But she was also betrayed by Teyo, who was a member of the Inquest, and as such was kicked out of the colleges. If Ceara met Kuda at this point in time, she would probably be untrustful of Kuda. Kuda would most likely look at the sylvari and consider her lesser than the asura, the sylvari that somehow "weaseled her way into the colleges", even though Ceara was gifted in her intellect. Kuda would call the professors of the colleges fools for allowing a lesser race to attend classes.
B) Post Omadd's Machine Scarlet Briar would look at Kuda as a tool to use to advance her plans. Another cog in the machine of uniting factions to achieve her goals. Kuda would look at what the "gifted sylvari" has become and at first think about how this sylvari could possibly be useful to the Inquest. But Scarlet's violent outbursts, and apparent unchecked disregard for anyone else would cause Kuda to think twice before attempting to talk to Scarlet. Not to mention Scarlet's pension for theatrics and showmanship in her ambitions would draw too much attention.
C) AU Timeline Scarlet Briar would look at Kuda and think "What tech of mine have you manipulated for your own usage?" as she remembers her betrayal by Teyo. Kuda would probably be dismissive of her, saying "Though I'm impressed you nearly brought the world to its knees, even though you stole members of the Inquest for your little army, the fact you failed means I have no use for you. Especially now since you're a nobody that constantly has to watch her back for anyone looking for revenge." So needless to say the two would be at odds with each other.
I know I don't post all that much anymore, but thank you for asking.
