I rediscovered a soundtrack that I love that I haven't heard in many years.
The Last Samurai
I used to listen to this soundtrack everyday when it came out back in 2003, especially when I was training Shorin-Ryu Karate, and Kobudo. The soundtrack is roughly an hour long, and that is what I would base my training time everyday - 1 hour.
When I moved back home from Los Angeles in 2006, the CD went into storage.
Listening to it now makes me miss those days of training, a time when I was more disciplined, more focused.
I wonder if there is going to be a Steve in Guild Wars 3...
Was playing Guild Wars 1 today and fought a Minotaur named Cootle
I found this little one while cutting up a giant tree branch that had fallen in the back yard
So Guild Wars 3 was officially announced
and...to be honest...I have zero hype for it. The teaser didn't grab me at all.
I just have no feeling about it. I watched the reveal and my reaction was...
ok.
The "Eggtremely Hard Game" with the two geese was more interesting to me than the GW3 reveal.
Maybe when more of the game is revealed through the coming year and half as we know more, it might interest me, but right now...meh.
Speculation Time: This just hit me a little while ago...
What if...and this is just a guess...the unnamed Guild Wars related MMO that Arenanet is working on is...
a real time battle game on huge Tyria world map ala Planetside?
Where players join a "country" (in this case human/charr/some other 3rd group) and wage war across the entire world.
A massive PvP battle on a world sized scale. that takes place during the first Guild Wars.
I'm not saying I want this to happen. I don't want a GW3. But it *could* happen.
Wait a minute!
Kuda sent some of the Inquest back to Starlight to get "something"...but we never found out what...
in the new zone, she mentions Project 5388...or...
Project SEBB...
She sent them back to retrieve Sebb's body.
This you?
you may not like it commander, but this is what peak ascension looks like
I laughed so hard at this.
Ooh how do you think Kuda and Scarlet would interact if they met? (Either pre or post Omadd's machine, or post redemption, whichever you think is monst interesting!)
After giving this some thought, I've decided to answer this in three parts: A) Pre Omadd's Machine, B) Post Ommad's Machine. and C) AU timeline
A) Pre Omadd's Machine Ceara was idealistic, focused, eager to learn and expand her knowledge. But she was also betrayed by Teyo, who was a member of the Inquest, and as such was kicked out of the colleges. If Ceara met Kuda at this point in time, she would probably be untrustful of Kuda. Kuda would most likely look at the sylvari and consider her lesser than the asura, the sylvari that somehow "weaseled her way into the colleges", even though Ceara was gifted in her intellect. Kuda would call the professors of the colleges fools for allowing a lesser race to attend classes.
B) Post Omadd's Machine Scarlet Briar would look at Kuda as a tool to use to advance her plans. Another cog in the machine of uniting factions to achieve her goals. Kuda would look at what the "gifted sylvari" has become and at first think about how this sylvari could possibly be useful to the Inquest. But Scarlet's violent outbursts, and apparent unchecked disregard for anyone else would cause Kuda to think twice before attempting to talk to Scarlet. Not to mention Scarlet's pension for theatrics and showmanship in her ambitions would draw too much attention.
C) AU Timeline Scarlet Briar would look at Kuda and think "What tech of mine have you manipulated for your own usage?" as she remembers her betrayal by Teyo. Kuda would probably be dismissive of her, saying "Though I'm impressed you nearly brought the world to its knees, even though you stole members of the Inquest for your little army, the fact you failed means I have no use for you. Especially now since you're a nobody that constantly has to watch her back for anyone looking for revenge." So needless to say the two would be at odds with each other.
I know I don't post all that much anymore, but thank you for asking.
I'm just gonna come out and say it.. Pardon my language...but she's a cunt.
One of these days, I hope to get the motivation to put pencil to paper once again and sketch/draw/artZ like I used to many many years ago.
The desire is there. I want to. But whenever I think about it, the motivation just isn't there.
And that makes me sad.
Don't you want to hug the Beefcake?
I really the term "mandatory overtime". The place I work is threatening to start mandatory overtime because employees are trying to live their lives outside of work, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. We put in overtime during the week, Mon-Fri, and they ask for volunteers for Saturday. Hardly anyone volunteers for Sats and management gets pissed off about it. Yet, the CEO keeps preaching about "work-home life balance".
I guess I'll be written up every week once they start this mandatory overtime bullshit.
This happened today
She still occupies a place in my brain pan
