When we first started out I read every comment. EVERY SINGLE ONE! If you've been following us since P.O.P. then you can imagine how crazy they could get lol. By the time we did the first season of SMOKE AND MIRRORS I was pretty much obsessed with audience engagement. That is until episode 6 when I got my first wack comment and thumbs down. I was devastated! (NOTE: I am every single cliche that there ever was about sensitive artists and am far too comfortable with myself to apologize to a single soul about it. ) After creating much more content and getting more thumbs down ( because not everyone has good taste), I care far less about the folks that don't like/ get the art I'm making but I'm always super grateful for the folks that stop to share some positive words 😁 Check out my latest short film, WOMAN BUSINESS if you haven't already and feel free to leave a comment 🖤🖤🖤 Link in my bio #KarynRoseBruyning #ArtistLife #Storyteller #ExperimentalFilm #IndieFilmmaker #SuperShortFilm #ArtOfTheDay #WomenInFilm #DirectorCommentary #BlackFilmmaker #BlackWomenDirectors #WomenInTheArts #21ninety #BlackGirlMagic #blkcreatives https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv22MJsF5g_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1aeu3q3bzsou7
