the dirk/vriska dynamic is that they both compete to be The Most Important Person in any given situation, which mostly involves a lot of crime and/or asking to see the manager at stores and restaurants. whenever one of them is having a Genuinely Bad Time the other one is like ‘hey I’ve noticed you haven’t been an insufferable tool of late what’s going on, you good? how are we supposed to be Those Bitches if only one of us is being That Bitch?? step your game up asshole, keep up’ and so they bully each other into being functional people and end up getting banned from a lot of public places
