A nasty scar on his shoulder, circling over the entire area of his shoulder, and almost a 150 others all over his body, due to his monthly transformations.
Do they have any nicknames? Where did they come from?
Rem, Moony, Moons, Loony Lupin. The first three coming from his friends, the last is a name Peeves the Poltergeist has taken upon himself.
How do they usually dress? What do they wear to sleep? Do they wear jewelry?
Remus likes wearing knitted sweaters, cardigans, being comfortable is a big part of his dresscode. He wears a t-shirt and pj bottoms to bed and he doesn't wear jewelry.
Is there anything about their appearance they wish they could change?
Remus would love to change his appearance to one where he wouldn't be covered in scars, but as it's part of his life he hardly has a choice but to be the way he is now.
What do they smell like? Why (do they wear the scent or does it occur naturally)?
His cologne smells a little musky, but most of the time you'll be able to smell either ink or the outdoors on Remus.
Do they have an accurate mental picture of their appearance (how they see themselves versus how the world sees them)?
Remus' self image is a rather bad one. He doesn't see what others see in him because he doesn't think he's worth it. He's rather insecure and that seeps through in the mental picture he has of himself. No matter how many times his friends tell him that a lot of people like him!

He loves reading, he enjoys being outside. He has always loved those two, ever since he was a little boy.
