Dirt Pie
Easy and oh so good...a favorite at picnics!
Ingredients:
-1 package of jello chocolate instant pudding (serving size 4)
-1 cup cold milk (I prefer 2% but whole or skim works also)
-1 package of thawed cool whip
-25 Oreos
-1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
-1 pre-made oreo or graham cracker crust
-Gummy Worms (optional)
Directions:
1. Prepare pudding according to package directions reducing milk to 1 cup.
2. Fold in whipped topping.
3. Smash oreos in large ziplock back using rolling pin. Reserve 1/3 for the top of the pie. Fold in 2/3 of smashed oreos into the pudding mixture. Stir in marshmallows if using.
4. Spoon mixture into prepared crust. Top with remaining crushed oreos and gummy worms for added whimsy (if using).
5. Freeze for 4 hours. Allow to thaw 20 minutes before serving.
Makin' dirt pie with my daddy. If you don't know what that is...I feel sorry for you. :P
Pie
Me: What are you eating?
Nathan: Sand pie.
Me: What the fuck is that?
Nathan: It's like dirt pie, but made with golden oreos instead of the regular kind.
Me: Why are all the desserts that you eat named disgusting things?
