Attila Live at Dirt Fest 2016

I had the esteemed pleasure of photographing one of the longest running festivals around. In its 15th year, Dirt Fest brought in thousands of fans of the harder types of rock music. I photographed most of the main stage bands throughout the sweltering 100-degree day in Pontiac, Michigan. The next gallery is from Atilla. This was fucking ridiculous. The band ripped through their set and got the crowd going fucking batshit. Then it happened, a couple got caught fucking on top of the Phoenix Plaza Amphitheater overlooking the Crofoot Festival space. It's on youtube... and I would link that shit, but I still don't know what to say about it. Anyway, here's the gallery from Atilla's set at Dirt Fest 15 in August of 2016, Pontiac, Michigan. Bury Your Dead Live at Dirt Fest 2016

I had the esteemed pleasure of photographing one of the longest running festivals around. In its 15th year, Dirt Fest brought in thousands of fans of the harder types of rock music. I photographed most of the main stage bands throughout the sweltering 100-degree day in Pontiac, Michigan. The next gallery is from the legendary hardcore band Bury Your Dead. This was fucking nuts because they played all the early jams that got the crowd worked the fuck up. They even ended the set with Losin' It and brought out friends to play their instruments as they faded from the stage. Fucking perfect exit, here's the photo gallery!

Walls of Jericho Live at Dirt Fest 2016

I had the esteemed pleasure of photographing one of the longest running festivals around. In its 15th year, Dirt Fest brought in thousands of fans of the harder types of rock music. I photographed most of the main stage bands throughout the sweltering 100-degree day in Pontiac, Michigan. The next gallery is from one of my favorite hardcore bands of all time, Walls of Jericho. They fucking tore it the fuck up. Between them, FTFD, Bury Your Dead, and Hatebreed, it was so obvious that Hardcore won the day. At least for me. The crowds were 100x crazier for those bands than the others. Not to say it's a competition but I'm being a dick about it anyway. Here are the photos!
