The flip lid is the safety. They’re actually kind of amazing because you don’t get burnt on them like a normal lighter, and they also save on waste. o3o
Oh shit maybe it's not called the safety, lmao, it's that thing between the two wheels you push down on to make it go? I don't know why but for some reason I have a heck of a time trying to use it if it's not there B| plus my hands are small...I really have no business using lighters anyway, I'm like a baby XDDD
My boyfriend has a few really fantastic zippos though. Maybe he could try to teach me again! They look really cool and yeah I can definitely see where they'd save on waste being refillable and all ^___^
