Began yesterday at 6a in the dark by myself at Pennypack Park in Philly. I don't get freaked out on trails often, but this is a city park on wooded trails I have never been. More concerned about wayward humans then 🐻 That plus trails hard to follow made it a slow go. It was a cold wet start. I got 22.75 mi/ 1400' elevation because I only had 6 hrs available. So I got the 25k. I'll have to try again for a 50k because it's virtual it can be done anywhere. By 🌞 I found some other runners I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this park. At sunrise I passed through an old growth forest (YES) one of only 20 in the state and this is in the city of Philadelphia!
