Since this is the week of @faeryands ‘s birthday, we decided to mix both their passions: their work in Henosis a fantasy comic in the making, and representation, and work some moodboards and aesthetic post with their characters for DisabilityFest.

I: The Magician:   Power, skill, concentration, action, resourcefulness

Barbara “Babs” Gordon AKA Oracle- Paralysis 

-“ You know at the end of the day, when you close the door and you're all alone... And you strip off your armour and lower your guard and peel away the mask... When there's nobody watching and nothing to hide... And you no longer need to be strong or clever or pretty or brave... There's just you. That's it. That's the soul. ”-

This year I’ll be working on a series of fan art for disabilityfest, uniting disabled characters for my favourite media with the symbolism of the major arcana from the classic tarot deck.

I: Le Mague: Poder, habilidad, concentración, acción, ingenio.

 Este año voy a estar trabajando en una serie de fanarts para el disabilityfest, uniendo personajes discapacitades de mis obras favoritas con el simbolismo de los arcanos mayores del tarot.

II: The High Priestess:   Intuition, Higher powers, mystery, subconscious mind

Nimue Inwundu AKA Madam Xanadu - Blindness, depression, addiction.

-“ Do not look to others for your magic! Look to yourselves... yourselves alone! ”-

I love Madame X. So I made her the high priestess, mixing different aspects of her new earth and prime earth versions. I feel she was a much more mystical character back before N52,developed and individual, but I liked her on Justice League Dark, so I took a bit of that too.

II: La Sacerdotisa :   Intuición, poderes ocultos, misterio, la mente subconsciente 

Nimue Inwundu alias Madam Xanadu - ceguera, depresión, adicción.

-“ ¡No busquen la magia en otres! ¡Busquenla en ustedes, y sólo en ustedes!”-

Amo a Madam X, así que la hice La Sacerdotisa, mezclando un poco sus versión de la New Earth y Prime Earth. Siento que ra mucho más mística allá antes de los N52, pero me gustó su personaje en la Liga de la Justicia Oscura, así que también tomé algo de eso.

Billy Cranston AKA Blue Ranger - Autism

-“ I’m strong. Super strong! ”-

I loved Power Rangers (2017), I hadn’t had so much fun and felt such enthusiasm watching a movie in such a long time. So of course, The Hierophant goes to Billy, the believer, the heart.

Billy Cranston alias Ranger Azul - Autismo

-“ Soy fuerte. ¡Super fuerte! ”-

Amé Power Rangers (2017), no me había divertido y entusiasmado tanto por una película en muchísimo tiempo. Así que, obviamente, el Hierofante va a Billy, el creyente, el corazón.
