Ana x Jessie || Biscotti: My muse is making cookies and asks your muse for help!

It wasn’t that Anna had never made cookies before, but maybe trying to make five different kinds at once was a bit too overwhelming. But how was she supposed to decide which one type of cookie her staff would enjoy the most? “Do I smell burning?” she asked herself, bowls of cookies mix on the counter. Quickly, she went over to the oven, peering inside. “When did I even put those in there?” Anna hastily made her way to the other side of the kitchen to grab an oven mitt before running to the other side, tripping and knocking a bowl off the counter. At the sound of someone entering the kitchen, Anna stood up, a bowl on her head and a complete disaster around her. “Don’t look! It’s a surprise!” When she removed the bowl, she realized it wasn’t someone from the castle, but maybe she could help her. “Oh, hi,” she said with a small giggle. “You wouldn’t happen to know anything about baking, would you?” She gasped, smelling smoke again. “The oven!” she exclaimed, before running back over to the burning cookies she was on her way to remove before she fell. Anna grabbed the tray and plopped the burnt goods onto the counter. “Do you think they’re salvageable?”

Youthrise is excited to announce that we are collaborating with the organisation, Women of Worth, to host a webinar on the theme ‘colorism in the media.’ This will be a part of the Dark is Beautiful campaign and will take place on 24th October, 5pm (IST). The webinar will talk about issues such as colorism found in advertisements, film, and music and will be a great platform for students to share their experiences and ideas.
