One hit straight to the nose by a volleyball was definitely something unexpected. She didn't think her first week in Hope's Peak Academy would turn out this bad. Aoi Asahina, Super High-School Level Swimmer, walked down the corridor with a handkerchief in hand-- pressing it to her nose in attempt to stop the bleeding (she had a feeling she was doing it wrong) as she made her way for the nurse's office.

Thanks to her lack of skills in decision-making, however, she had decided to look for her destination herself-- declining any help from her classmates as she had excused herself from her Physical Education class. Now she was utterly lost and confused as her cerulean gaze scrutinized her surroundings.

"So where exactly am I...?" She wondered out loud, her voice coming out somewhat nasally due to the pressure she was pressing on her nose. Why she declined offers of help from her classmates, she could never comprehend. Perhaps asking someone wouldn't hurt. All she just had to do was ask someone who seemed... pretty harmless. Someone who wouldn't just shrug her off or tell her to get lost; in spite of the evident fact that she already was.

"Umm, excuse me...!" She managed to tap the shoulder of the first person passing by.

Ibuki had been waiting all day to be able to get into the prestigious hope's Peak Academy the instant it opened. She'd had a cunning plan to camp outside the school the night before, but after 20 minutes and a broken tent pole, had decided that perhaps her school bag was not best fitted to carrying a tent. 

So, since 4 AM, Ibuki had been waiting for the school to open to new students at 9 AM. After all, she knew that arriving early to your classes was a sure way to succeed, and Ibuki definitely had plans to succeed. 

By 5:30, Ibuki had run through her supply of cake and decided that perhaps she should have a little nap. Just a little short one, of course, because she also knew that getting lots of sleep before school was a sure way to succeed!

Seven hours later, Ibuki stretched, and whined slightly when she noticed that all of her limbs were in pain. Groaning quietly, she vowed to herself to never fall asleep in front of the school ever again, before catching sight of her watch and jumping to her feet.

"Late, late late, Ibuki is late!" she sang joyfully as she ran into the school building and through the corridors. Of course, Ibuki was pretty sure that being late was a bad thing, but she was doing something different. She was to be fashionably late.

 Ibuki had no idea what it meant to be fashionably late, but she was fashionable, and she was late, so she figured this would suffice. Ibuki's clever plotting was quickly interrupted by a questioning, insidious thought sneaking into Ibuki's mind and betraying her.

Where is Ibuki? 

Ibuki stopped, looking around. She was in a corridor. Satisfied with this answer, she prepared to continue merrily marching through the school before another, even sneakier thought crossed her mind. 

Where is Ibuki supposed to be? 

Ibuki stopped again, scratching her head. This tiny little problem could easily spell the end for Ibuki's successful school career! Fortunately, Ibuki could see someone else walking down the corridor towards her. They seemed to be in a hurry of some sort, but it probably wasn't important. 

Ibuki ran towards them, waving her arms frantically. "Hey! Hey! Stranger-chan! Pay attention to Ibuki!"

Aimless {open starter}

"6.. 7.. 8..." Komaeda's voice rang quietly through the hallway as the boy trailed his hand along the wall, counting every time his hand went from the smooth plaster to the cold surface of a window. It was early and nothing particularly interesting was happening, and it wasn't like anyone would speak with him anyways. Not voluntarily, at least. However, he continued dragging his fingertips against the wall, quietly murmuring out numbers as he stared at the tiled floor.

Maybe he was thinking? Or perhaps it was just a way to distract himself and keep him occupied for a while... But either way, he was certainly out of it, and wasn't watching where he was going; causing him to bump into someone and send them both stumbling.

"Ah- I'm sorry..!" He quickly apologized, looking at the unidentified individual with a worried smile. "How careless of me... I really should have been watching where I was going.. it was my fault, I apologize!" He chattered, spilling out more apologies and how he was the one to blame for it. 

"You're not hurt, are you?"

The dojo was a lovely place-- so elegant and serene that it managed to twist Peko's usually stoic expression into one of vague shock. Cherry trees surrounded the training space, pink petals that resembled little clouds growing from the branches. Wooden lockers lined the walls and sheaved straw and targets were provided in generous quantities for practice. She stood in the doorway, mesmerized. Hope's Peak clearly aimed to please. 

After unpacking her things in her dorm-- which didn't take very long at all, as she did not own very many things, the academy's dojo was Peko's first destination. It was where she suspected she'd be spending the most of her time, after all. Hope's Peak seemed tranquil. Although the swordswoman wasn't planning on letting her guard down, she knew that she would have nothing of importance to occupy her time with on peaceful days inside the academy. A tool was purposeless in an environment that lacked any chaos. Still... with the dojo's inviting lure and the promise of some peace, she was content. If bocchan was safe, that's all that really mattered. 

Wanting to get better acquainted with the academy, Peko resisted the enticing presence of the dojo and turned out of the doorway. She began to amble down the hallway-- but didn't make it  much too far when she heard the sounds of running footsteps and an accompanying 'crash' not too far behind her. Someone had fallen? Dropped something? Alarm bells went off immediately in her head at the suddenness and loudness of the noise. On instinct she brought her hand up to draw her shinai and whirled around. Recognizing suddenly that the person behind her wasn't a threat, she retracted her hand from the practice sword she wore on her back. 

"I... I apologize, I wasn't intending to harm you, I just--" She sighed, stumbling over her words and at a slight loss for her mistake. "Are you all right?"

lost and unfound [OPEN STARTER]

Great. Just great. Straight away he had already screwed up.

He assumed that those who knew of his name would be scared or at least wary of him despite his looks. Kuzuryuu would prefer to ignore his looks altogether, but, of course, no one else seemed to, so he had to compensate for them somehow. This compensation was often in the form of steering away from anyone, sending looks like daggers at strangers and shouting at anyone who confronted him.

Unfortunately, today he couldn't do any of those things. This was because he had dropped something quite important, and despite searching for hours, nothing had turned up.

Swallowing his pride, he approached a stranger that was walking past in the hallway, cutting into their route a little to make himself noticeable. "Oi," he interrupted, trying to look serious despite being somewhat embarrassed. "'Ave you seen a red ribbon lyin' around? Tell me up straight or I'll punch yer lights out."
