Sometimes I think i give too many of my characters DID and then I remember how few characters there are with DID in the world. So I give another character dudes in their brain without remorse. I want more characters per character

Mild rant ahead. Feel free to ignore.

An interesting dilemma has come up within the system. There's a common want and occasional need amongst some alters to be recognized as their own people. Some of these people however, believe they are to be hated and that they should be hated. Therefore, they neglect to speak this need for recognition out of fear of "getting what they deserve". And, if such a person happens to read this later, you do not deserve to be hated. You are not hated. I know you were made to believe that you are, but you are not. You deserve to be here and to be loved. And if you are upset, tell people.

Me: the concept of Evil Alters is a harmful, reductive stereotype that I will always criticize harshly.

Also my brain: Three self proclaimed evil wizards. Two biblical demons and four made up ones. The Hat Man. 2 eldritch malevolent gods. A couple fictional murderers and the antagonist of my horror novel for good measure

Me: C'mon man,,

And the twist of course is that some of these guys are the best caretakers and emotional support I've ever had.

Sometimes I think about the symptoms of things I experience and how they express themselves through unusual means. Like, I have schizophrenia. But I dont really have a flat affect most of the time, then theres the George Chamberlain that lives in my brain and is the least expressive person alive. I also think I'm not very irritable or easily annoyed, then theres Azazel who hates everyone and is pissed off by literally everything. I dont experience genuine delusion very often, then theres Elijah Ven who is really functional and normal other than the fact he genuinely believes he is the spirit of a dead detective possessing my body.

They really werent joking when folks coined symptom-holder as a role alters can have.

Hello! We're hard to come by apparently!! Which is a little surprising given that ol Pterry has effected so many people with the discworld series. I know it's effected us for the better in a lot of different ways, including producing bastards in this brain of ours.

Fun fact, Rincewind was actually one of the first recognized alters in this head of ours. That wizzard has been here for a very very long time.
