Honestly though, I'll just do better tomorrow

First study sesh of the day people! Nearly finished, sort of just waiting for my pomodoro break to end 😋
Good morning btw! Or evening, or night, or whatever it is where you are. Hope you're on break ❤️
I'm writing a chapter index for this thing, 'cause of course it doesn' t have one. I'm gonna have to reread the book before thursday, 'cause I' m gonna have a book conversation about it with my teach then. A week later my, idk, analysis of it has to be ready? Which is actually pretty neat, 'cause I get to use what we talked about in that analysis.
I'm pretty inspired to work actually, which is good 'cause I' ve got several deadlines for this Wednesday 😓. I like that we got to choose our own book, too.
Gonna post again when I'm done!
Studyblr introooooo
9.12.18
Hello! My name’s Nora, and I’m named after my grandma, Norfrid. I’m not entirely new to this community, but I am entirely new to paying much attention to it. I love a lot of aspects of it, and I want to stay on track school-wise, so here we are.
A bit about me:
I’m sixteen and in my 11th year/1st year of gymnas
I’m Norwegian, currently living with my mom, her husband, and my little brother
I love singing, and I’m... intrigued by the jazz and blues genres
My favourite food is either sushi, taco or lamb ribs (so tender, omfg)
No it’s definitely lamb ribs, no doubt
What classes do I have?
English (1 year)
Science (1 year)
Norwegian (...3 years?)
Maths (3 years :()
Media society (the best Google Translate could think of) (3 years)
Media Expression (the best I could think of) (3 years)
Gym (3 years)
French (2 years)
Why did I (re)start a studyblr?
Well, I really need to hold myself accountable when it comes to studying. I’m of the mindset that if no one’s forcing me to do it, why should I do it?
Also, I want to enjoy studying more. I want to learn. Recently it’s gotten more enjoyable, and I want to cherish that feeling. It’s beautiful, and my ticket out of slumps
And last, but (perhaps) not least, I want to get better grades, at least for Science and English (especially English). They’re going on my diploma after next semester, so I’m gonna work really hard for them especially
Extracurriculars?
I dance jazz (not ballet) once a week
I run the podcast at my youth club, which is meant to motivate teens to do stuff other than be couch potatoes
I sing pretty well, and atm I’m in a band. Hopefully they’ll keep me :)
I’ve just started playing DnD with three of my friends, which is suuuuuper exciting
Interests?
Reading, oh my god reading
Singing and dancing
Cleaning my room (not, hah) (gotcha)
Philosophizing (had to copy the correct spelling out of Google Translate 😎)
What do I plan on posting?
Plans for my day (and whether I follow through)
Other forms of plans for my day
Rants (probably)
Tips to others
My own habits/go-to’s
And 100 days of productivity
And finally, what studyblrs have inspired me?
Oof, so many. Here are the few that I can remember:
@emmastudies with her actually awesome attitude
@piiess with her hybrid blog (made me realise it’s possible)
And here are some others, which look pretty good:
@pianoandstudy @socistudies @theextralitnerd @caroline-studying
