Spice Girls. I will wear that badge with pride. Literally, there was a badge and all.
30:A band/artist you can’t stand?
Maroon 5. In their Songs About Jane days, when they had something distinctive about them, I was really into them, but they’ve gradually devolved into an act that’s blander than a saltine. Also, you could pick up four guys from the bus stop, line them up behind Adam, and tell them to act natural, and no one would notice.
31:What’s your favorite genre?
Rock is in my blood. But my dirty little secret? Eurodance. Because i’m trash.
32:Can you play any instruments?
I used to be in a drumming troupe and I learned how to play many different African and South American percussive instruments. But I went hog-wild on the djembe and tamborim. Fun fact: I’ve still got a djembe but it mostly doubles as a side table now. I brought it out for a house party last year and I never thought i’d say I missed all those callouses because hot damn, do you need ‘em.
Wait how do you pronounce oyster?
Heavier emphasis on “oi”, then slurring into “stuh” (and the broader the dialect, the more prevalent this is - we tend to only have interest in the first syllable of any word and half-arse the rest)
