Here is my audition process for "disconnected." I was very pleased with everyones performances over the week where I had booked the media suite at Banbury and Bicester College. I will make a list of all the people who attended and will evaluate their performances as well as make a list of the people who obtained the roles.

Disconnected: Audition Process

As this is my directorial debut, I have decided to construct an experiment which I feel is a neccessity in the film making world. I plan to present my film project to Year 2 performing arts with a list of the character profiles and what the genre/film is about, etc. I am very passionate about this being a project that all cast and crew could be proud to put on their CVs and portfolios. I want it to show that I'm capable of working in a team environment for a big production with me doing all pre-production work due to grading jurisdictions. I will then give the candidates a line from the script for whichever character they wish to re in act on the day. I will also get them to fill out a contributors release form for permission confirmation that this will be all filmed. Afterwards I will evaluate each person that came to the audition process on how I felt about their overall performance.
