Armada, by the same author, is supposedly even worse. i don’t remember which one of them has a plot that hinges around remembering the entire script to monty python and the holy grail, but i know one of them does.

i dont reread so much anymore bc i dont read in general so much anymore but when i was a kid i would read the same books so many times my parents got concerned

i always remember redwall fondly not just because the series totally dominated my adolescence but because i got it for, oh, my fifth or sixth bday... and i read it all in one day. and reading it now im like “who the hell would give this to a six-year-old and expect them to comprehend”
