Discovery Task 9 Making a map out of what interests me was kind of interesting and difficult. So, I decided to draw a road map through the random stuff that goes through my brain. Actually making the map was more difficult. The hardest part was trying to make where the roads lead and what topics to use between them. Otherwise, I thought this was a fun assignment.

Discovery Task #9: Maps and Diagrams

The inclusion of maps and diagrams in comics creates a pathway of a character’s mind and defines a character. Here in this comic you can see the indecisiveness and lack of satisfaction with my wardrobe.  By showcasing three particular items among piles and piles of clothes, the reader can infer that I regularly wear these clothes. For my adaption project I hope a map and diagram is applicable to the content that I create.

My main character is an alien from a planet that is far more advanced than earth. This species has enhanced senses, intelligence, as well as telekineses abilities. Her family, who is affiliated with the planets high court, are assigned a mission to another planet, but their vessel starts to lose power halfway. The closest planet they can like exist on is Earth, so they prepare to land, avoiding the alternative: crashing, exploding, etc.

On earth, her parents try to fix their ship, but aren't exactly equipped with any tools or materials they need. Meanwhile, my curious main character (which will have some weird alien name) decides to disguise herself to observe humans. 

I picture this story turning into something "super hero" related where she starts sympathizing with the humans and caring for them to the point where she turns into vigilante-esque crime fighter against her parents' wishes.

Yes, she’s an alien. My story for my comic is weird.
