Maybank2UXupdate
Shocker!
Was surprised with a new landing page on the Maybank2U site. Nice big and clean fonts. I think they did a good job on highlighting the new site design as its own singular page as opposed to Google’s bottom right pop-up for its recent UI update for Gmail and Drive. It deserves it’s own page to announce something as big as this.
Holy.
So my first impression was that it looks hella clear and concise. Placing the login form/button dead centre is a good decision to navigate users (like me) straight into their accounts without looking at unnecessary product offerings and services; which is why any other information is placed far below. Even I didn’t want to scroll down any further, since I just wanted to go into my account to check stuff.
The future is bright and friendly!
Accounts are presented as cards now. Also, the amount of white space feels comfortable when compared to the old UI. There’s a clear indication of the type of information that’s important to users marked by obvious colour accents (green and red). Other than that I went on to do my business with ease due to the new UI. It’s amazing.
