Far Cry 5 endings.
I would like to know which one do you prefer - Resist, or Walk Away (or maybe the hidden one at the beginning of the game)? If you could also write down why exactly, it would be awesome. I’m just curious. And maybe some of you have interesting headcanons about what happens AFTER one of these endings. So yeah, basically - let’s discuss a little. Actually, I love all of these endings. Why? Because not a single one is actually what gamers call “the good one” or “the best one”. No. All of them are actually a fail of Hope County’s Sheriff Department and a win for Eden’s Gate. And I love it, because I was sick of all those happy endings. I love that the main point after finishing the game is “you killed hundreds of people, destroyed and burned most part of the county trying to save few of those you cared about, but in the end, all that violence ended in your lost”. It is cool. Many people say that it made the whole game pointless, but NO. It was to PROVE A POINT. To prove that going and shooting and killing everyone in your sight (because let’s be honest, we also killed civilians on some occasions, by accident or not) is not a good thing. But if I had to pick one, it’s Walk Away. Mostly because the world is still intact (even though the war is imminent, as car radio says - something about Korean and Russian nuclear tests). But because it proves another point - Jacob’s brainwashing WAS A BIG DEAL. It really affects people, it’s not something you can forget about. My headcanon is that Dep indeed kills every single person in the car, including Pratt (I’m sorry, my dear boy), and goes back to Joseph, blood covered, furious. And is trapped in Hope County once more. Fighting for nothing all over again. (I also like to think that John and Jacob somehow didn’t die and are just in a really bad condition - but alive, and slowly coming back to life). So, how about you, people? I love this fandom and I would love to discuss with you some more! Reblog this post and write down what you think about Far Cry 5 endings.
