Vera sat across from Deacon at Sanctuary, waiting for the Vault Baby to return from whatever they were doing. Finding their...? Kid? She couldn’t remember. She just joined up because she decided she needed a cause again. Something like that.

Now she was having a staring contest with a man with glasses. Not her brightest idea, but what could she say? She was competitive.

Watching the sky swirl with green clouds Jean places the cigarette back between her lips as her head shakes. So much for stopping the end of the world it seems.

“I mean at least you’re being optimistic. Maybe they’ll kill you last.” Jean mutters as a lungful of smoke is exhaled.

“Tom is also insane.”  One might say the same for Deacon. But where the   good Doctor finds him something of an annoyance,   Quade acknowledges charisma. It’s  - more or less   similar in regards to Tinker Tom. 

 And speaking of mysteries - The Lurk shifts a glance   toward the terminal, the faint spark of electricity still   present even as the darkness of a now inactive  screen begins to envelop it.  “Working late?”

         snort unceremonious, Daisy hardly lifts her gaze from the ledgers before her; some choose not to keep them, but those are the kinds of dumbasses who often complain that their stock is mysteriously going missing after a few strangers have come through. a desperate bid to garner pity and perhaps compensation   (  though the latter is never given  ).  palm come to rest either side of the book and a hairless brow quirks.       “   seems like you got somethin’ on your mind,  ”   she drawls,  “  wanna talk about it without the riddles, kid ?   ”
