If anything I can really see you with Niall because you guys would be the best of friends and you would probably meet at a bar and of course Niall would flash you with that gorgeous smile, and you're just like, "holy shit, is he really looking at me like that?" and even though you just became good friends at a bar, Niall really wants to see more of you, so he invites you to go see football/soccer games with him, either live or just at his house, and you actually don't care for soccer but if it's to spend a day with that beautiful /man/ then so be it. You would learn every single thing about that sport, and then you would learn everything about Niall, from his favorite song to his favorite pair of socks, and if that was weird, Niall never said a thing. He just laughed at all the questions and would shoot back with his own,usually hitting his shoulders against yours. Sure, that was nothing in Niall's eyes, just friend contact, but to you it was like a fire erupting wherever he touched you, and yeah, it really hurt, but at the same time you craved for more. So, naturally, you became one of his closest friends, and you became more than just a friend who he watched sports with, but someone who he could talk to late at night, and talk about how much he missed his family, even when he was with them, and that may not have made much sense to other people but it sure made sense to you. And, Niall missed a lot of things while away from home, and he knew he couldn't get that back, so you were always there to comfort him when he shared his feelings. Other people saw the carefree boy from Ireland, but you saw someone completely different and that just made it so much more special. He let you in, something that he didn't do with many, if any at all, and he even told you how scared he was about falling in love with someone, which, fuck, hurt a /lot/ because then how could he love you? But, you were there for him and you gave him the biggest hug you could, because that's just how it was going to be but you would take what you could get. Although, you didn't count on the next day Niall calling you, practically begging you to come over. You were scared. Scared that he found out how you felt, and that he didn't feel the same and those days of you two being close would be over. Of course, Niall was cool, and Niall would get it. He wouldn't throw you away like that, but once he knew, you wouldn't stop showing it and you knew that too, and soon one day he would have no choice but to just stop talking to you, and that would hurt so much more than keeping it inside. You go to his house, and you're scared out of your mind, but there Niall is, with an expression of anxiety and happiness, and before you can ask him a question he runs into you and hugs you so hard you can't breathe and the next second he's kissing you and you try your hardest not to sob because oh, my god the love of your life feels the same way you do, and how could have this happened to someone like you? So, you just kiss back and thank the stars in the sky and whoever is watching out for you and you promise to never let him go.
