Riding around in the car and this comes on. Yoooo, I haven't heard this in a MINUTE! I wouldn't say that I'm a huge Alicia Keys fan, but I like her music in general. And this joint right here is one of my favorites. (To be honest, I have a predisposition to enjoy any song that samples Eddie Kendrick's "Intimate Friends"...lol.)

I've always LOVED this song. It automatically puts me in a good mood. (Maybe THAT'S why I never fast forward those Ron Burgundy Dodge Durango commercials on my dvr. *shrug*) Of course, I also dig the original instrumental by Hugh Masekela, but this version is my favorite.

Listening to John Legend's new album "Love In The Future" once again (ha! "Once Again"...y'all see what I did right there?). I'm definitely enjoying the music...this album is giving me "feels". Legend does a couple of covers (including a lovely version of Anita Baker's "Angel"). But I couldn't help but revisit the original version of this classic. Give Bobby his props, y'all!
So, I get a message from a friend around 12:35am telling me, "Watch Jimmy Fallon NOW!" (don't you worry about why I was up so late...mind ya biz! hehe). Anyhoo....I turn to NBC just in time to witness this awesomeness!! It even had my hubby groovin (which says alot...lol).
What DOES rhyme with "hug me", anyway? Hehehehe
