Does anyone else remember the Lion Guard minigame on Disney Now?
I think it was called Protectors of the Pridelands, but I'm not sure. Each guard member had their own games too.
Kion had a crossy-road type of game, where each time you press or click the screen you move forward, left, right, backward, etc. I always messed up on the log crossing part though. Janja was also there in some of the paths Kion had to cross. You could also move towards animals in thorn bushes to save them. :)
Bunga had a climbing game. You had to jump between different ledges, or else you fell and had to start over. If you jumped on a beehive, you died. If you didn't move off a crumbling rock bridge in time, you died. If you jumped on a thorn bush, you died. If you ran into a hyena or some other enemy animal, you died. Younger me got so annoyed at losing and traumatized seeing Bunga fall to his presumed death, so I stopped playing that one.
Fuli had a racing/Temple Run/endless running like game, where you ran from baboons. If you tripped, the baboons started following you again. After tripping three times, the baboons trampled Fuli, and you had to restart.
Beshte had a hippo lane puzzle game! Sort of. You basically made a path from one side to the other for animals to pass through the hippo lanes safely while avoiding crocodiles. I think mud also slowed you down there.
Ono had a hide and seek game. Ono flew over the Pridelands trying to find the rest of the guard members. I think I only found 3 of the 4 though. There were little orange bugs flying around Ono could eat as you flew. If you hit Mzingo or any vulture in the sky as you played, you had to start over.
There was also a little cutscene before each minigame you started. It was actually just one picture with voice acting, but still nice nontheless.
Also, there were powerups! There were Lion Guard symbols you could collect as you played each game.
After you reached 10, something different happened for each character. For Kion, you heard the Roar of the Elders, and he jumps really far - for some reason - and get farther ahead. For Bunga, you could jump really high and get a higher score. For Fuli, you ran super fast and got a farther distance. For Beshte, you heard "Twende Kiboko!" and logs that are in your path break to make the hippo lanes easier to make. I don't know what the power up for Ono was. I don't think I ever collected enough for him :/
Also, A Beautiful Day would play in the background! I'm not sure it was for all, but I think I heard it in Fuli and Kion's minigames. While it was listening to it the other day and heard the "dun, dun dun, dun dun" part at the end I realized that was the same sound that played when you lost/when the game finished.
