"Here Comes A Thought" Fits Well Into Kion's Arc in Season 3
I love how Nirmala helps Kion with his mental health/ptsd in season 3. She honestly feels like an aunt or like Dr. Maheswaran when she's checking on Steven's mental health in Steven Universe Future.
I wish the Lion Guard delved more into Kion's trauma though.
I feel like there could have been an episode where Nirmala sees how his friends remarks about his comments are affecting him. Those comments Bunga made about him definitely turning evil must have gotten to him before.
Nirmala could talk about a traumatic event in her life. Something terrible obviously happened that made Rani's parents die so early on in Rani and Baliyo's lives. They could have talked about how she felt about it all, and how she coped with that loss.
Kion could talk about the things Scar said to him in the Battle of the Pridelands ("the roar is a curse", "sisi ni sawa", etc) and Bunga being sure he's gonna turn evil. He could talk about how he internalized those feelings and lashed out at his friends, and how he's worried he'll lose his true self and become just like Scar.
