What could have been before Mobius walked thru the portal in episode 5 ...

Then:

Mobius placed his hand on Loki's cheek, and attempted a smile but it didn't quite reach his eyes. Truthfully, he wanted to do as Loki asked. He was not ready to leave Loki now that he'd finally just found him - but there were more important things going on here. He knew he needed to do his part in taking down the TVA, and he certainly would be no help against a giant angry cloud monster. No, he needed to go somewhere he could make the most difference - the TVA, his area of expertise.

"Here," Mobius whispered the word so softly, he wasn't even sure Loki heard it. His eyes flicked down to Loki's lips and he leaned in so close that he could feel Loki's uneasy but warm breath on his face. It was a comforting contrast to the cold, baron world surrounding them, and filled him with a sense of ease. Mobius let his eyes fall shut then closed the small, cold distance still between them. Only warmth remained as Mobius gently pressed their lips together. Loki's breath hitched in surprise but he quickly returned the gesture before Mobius pulled away only a few seconds later. He looked at Loki and said a little louder this time and with a genuine smile,

"Something to help motivate you to come back alive," Mobius's smile spread to Loki's lips like a contagion. He slid his hand to the back of the time agent's neck, running his fingers through the soft hair there. He grabbed Mobius's waist with his other hand and pulled him impossibly close, crashing their lips together in a passionate kiss. A small moan escaped Mobius's throat as Loki's tongue gained entrance to Mobius's mouth. The combination of Loki's body so close and the heat of his mouth on his was indescribable and somehow it made him shiver. He held on tight to Loki just in case his knees gave out.

When Loki finally pulled away for air, "Thought I'd give you a little something as well," he said with a devious smile, knowing that he had won. Mobius let him have this one and replied with a smirk "Well if that's not motivation, I don't know what is."

It's kinda interesting that both Loki's biological father ( Laufey ) and Reginald Hargreeves are played by Colm Feore. Which means he got two bisexual sons whose love language is stabbing.

I was rewatching Loki Episode 2 "The Variant" and there was something about Tom Hiddleton's portrayal of Loki that I couldn't put my finger on, specially when Mobius and Loki interact.

Loki is in a very unfortunate situation with the TVA, but he seems almost childish at times, rebelious yet desperate to prove himself at others and honestly just adorable.

Suddenly it hit me...Loki is a teenager in Asgardian years! He's acting like an energetic angsty teenager! Specially with Mobius who sees him as a scared child!

hey besties. it’s been a hot minute but i’m coming here to talk about loki!! 

 loki’s coming out literally meant the world to me. loki has been one of my favorite characters ever sense like middle school. i was really struggling with my sexuality when i began to become morbidly obsessed with them. now that loki has  come out, it kind of feels like we’ve grown together (as stupid as that may sound) loki has come to accept their sexuality while i’ve come to accept mine. loki was my safe place, my first “comfrot character,” and they continue to be so :) i just think it’s pretty damn beautiful !!
