Instead of making Lila pregnant they could have easily kept Diego's over protective behaviour simply because he has a hero complex. He blames himself for Grace, Pogo, and Patch's deaths. He saw Stanley evaporate in front of his eyes and still insisted on checking the chimney. He was even sad about JFK's death!

Diego was raised to be a hero. Heroes save people. They were failed heroes. To be in love is to protect our loved ones. Everyone that Diego held close was dying (apocalypse) or dead. To say that he became crazy over Lila's safety was not a stretch. The writers didn't have to make her pregnant. And while its interesting to think of, it ultimately wouldn't have changed S3's outcome and it plays off like 'throw it in there for the stakes' kind of writing

In honor of @harcest-month I thought I'd share yet another old kliego WIP (that is definitely nsft) featuring hunter-turned-werewolf Diego and witch Klaus, who has the ability to change genders and is presenting as a woman in this scene. It's from a fairytale AU by me and @pebbles-12345 that we have been RPing for years lol

Hopefully someday I'll finish this and some of the many, many other art WIPs in my TUA folder lol

Technically, Five deliberately kept Lila captive for almost half a year. And their relationship began 13 years and 7 months after they met. Now I've definitely finished my list.

Either the makeup artists were too lazy to give Diego a fake belly to justify the jokes about him being out of shape. Or they genuinely think this is a bad body.

Why is Diego, who didn't even sit through the introductory film about the damn Time Commission for five minutes, so happy to be in the most boring department of the CIA? This guy hacked the Infinite Switch to stop the nuclear apocalypse in the '60s, but instead of searching for Ben, who could destroy everything because of Cleansse, he just sits there because, "Well, it's the CIA!"

credits roll after the end of s4, and it cuts to Diego and Lila in bed

Diego awakens, startled

Lila: What's wrong babe?

Diego: Nothing, just a bad dream... you wouldn't ever cheat on me with Five would you?

Lila: Of course not, he looks 15 years younger than me and mentally is like 30 years older

Diego: OK, great, love you honey

Lila: Night love

They both go back to sleep
