Ellen's Energy Adventure
Hop along with Ellen DeGeneres on a journey trough time to find the source of energy! Located on the Universe of Energy Pavilion in Epcot, this ride is a very whimsical one.
Touring Tips!
This is loooong ride. There is a 8 minute pre-show and it's 45 minutes in total.
Although it is a very interesting ride, it can get boring. If you are in a hurry you can skip it because it is rather outdated.
It is a good ride for when you are digesting a meal, waiting for Fast Pass time or looking for cool air.
Choose good seating because you'll be seated for the next 45 minutes.
I recommend this ride to adults and grandpas.
Hidden Mickeys
After the dinosaur section of the ride, the movie shows a man driving a car out a barn and into a church (fourth building to the left). A shadow of the Hollywood Studios "Earffel" Tower appears in the doors of the church.
In the fight scene between the T-Rex and Stegosaurus there is a large plant shaped like Mickey's head to the front, right side of the dinosaurs.
Fun Facts
This ride has appearances by Bill Nye the Science Guy, Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Richards from Seinfeld.
The Universe of Energy is powered by 2 acres of solar panels. These generate enough amount of energy to power 15 houses!
The dinosaur plants outside the pavilion represent the original source of energy: fossil fuel.
This ride was first called Ellen's Energy Crisis but was immediately changed to Ellen's Energy Adventure.
