These were my last designs before leaving Disney, and the last I'd heard, they had stopped development and cancelled this project when I left. These Disney babies are a big program for Parks.. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I know it's in the millions. Anyway, my designs were approved, we got a few ugly samples in.. and then I left for new opportunities. I just stumbled upon these on the Disney site, and I wish -so- badly I had still been involved in the approval process.. they could have been so much cuter. I'm sorry, but this was dear to me. This project was one of the few things I had worked on over the years that had MY original artwork involved. Those blankets have my sketches on them, how crazy is that?!! I'm glad they actually went through with this line, and most of all I'm thankful I can finally post my concepts I worked on for MONTHS. I'm missing a bunch of concepts, and I'm hoping they aren't lost :C Enjoy these for now
