This stance holds the belief that children cannot give informed consent to sexual action with adults because of the innate power imbalance and the fact that their brains are not yet developed.
This belief is held as a protection against CSA and CSAM, as in the current state of society, it would not be safe to legalize sexual interactions between children and adults due to the lack of consequences for sexual perpetrators.
This stance is of the belief that even if animals could potentially give consent to sexual interactions with a human, most people are not well versed in animal behavior and biology to recognize it.
